  Job Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for validating the principles of precision optical measurement and spectroscopic analysis instrument development projects, and participating in the finalization of system designs.

  2. Collaborate with the instrument project team’s mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to conduct optical‑system proof‑of‑concept validation, feasibility analysis, and design finalization, and to prepare the corresponding technical documentation.

  3. Responsible for the optical design and initial testing of new products, and collaborate with other members of the project team to complete product development, debugging, and final assembly testing.

  4. Resolve any issues that arise during product debugging, production transition, and application.

  5. Post‑production upgrades, maintenance, and staff training for the product’s optical components.

  Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Optical Engineering, Applied Optics, Optical Information and Communication, Applied Physics, or a related field.

  2. Proficient in geometrical optics, physical optics, and related disciplines; familiar with the principles of fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopic imaging; capable of independently constructing optical setups for principle validation; well-versed in the optical configurations of various measurement techniques, as well as their respective advantages and limitations.

  3. Proficient in using Zemax optical design software and capable of performing aberration analysis.

  4. Candidates with at least two years of work experience at the bachelor’s level, or with project development experience at the master’s level, will be given priority.

  5. Candidates with experience in the development of optical research instruments or medical devices are preferred.
