CY-PMT-C-100

Photodetector

The CY-PMT-C-100 photomultiplier tube is a photosensitive detector, also known as a PMT. When its photocathode is exposed to extremely weak light, free electrons are emitted; these electrons are then accelerated by a high voltage and strike the dynode, generating secondary electrons. This process produces a photocurrent, ultimately converting the optical signal into an electrical signal, which is subsequently output after passing through a low-noise amplification circuit.
